the oldest supreme court justice announced today that he is retiring this summer.
which makes sense, seeing how he is almost 90 years old.
i'm wondering who president obama will pick as his replacement? rumor has it that Elena Kagan, the US solicitor general, is on the market, as well as federal appellate judges Merrick Garland and Diane Wood.
personally, i'd love to see a woman on the US Supreme Court jury.
either way, these next few months are going to be very interesting. the supreme court is one of my favorite political organizations to follow and learn about.
