pola's.

i've been itching to buy a Polaroid camera lately...what with saving for TOM PETTY & other fun adventures though, it doesn't seem to be in the budget. Internet-created Pola's are the next best thing! I think I'm going to use these in my back room... I have a huge corkboard just waiting to be filled with awesomeness. Here's my inspiration:

urban chic vintage photo shoot.

i got to model some vintage 60s and 70s attire this past week at URBAN CHIC here in ogden.

they have the CUTEST vintage clothes i've ever seen, & at such low costs! it was such a blast to do with these cute girls.

i could also spend my entire paycheck at this store. i was totally born in the wrong generation.

highlights of the past few days.

1. my favorite regulars at Starbucks

2. a friend took me out to sushi the other day... it was AMAZING.

3. spent all of sunday studying & trying to keep warm with this little one.
4, 5 & 6. yesterday I was able to attend several Legislative sessions for a story I was writing. the nerdy poly sci major in me had an absolute BLAST. i met ralph becker, stuart adams & ross romero. ross romero is the current sponsor of the co-parenting bill, which i most definitely support. i spoke with senator adams about the funding being cut from the women's shelter in kaysville, & why. i also asked him to support the autism bill.

it was probably one of my favorite days ever! sometimes i wish i stayed a poly sci student... 

Planning a wedding.

While there's still almost a year until my BFF gets married, there's a ridiculous amount of planning to do!! Today Emily, Erick and I went to look at a few possible venues for their luncheon, reception and wedding ceremony. I have NO idea how couples plan a wedding in just a few months.. Hooray for a long engagement so that all there is to do seems way less stressful! Here are some highlights of the day:

stumbled across some old Polaroid's the other day.

I've been meaning to make a Polaroid wall in my new house but haven't had time to get around to it (finals week is coming!!!) I do have some Pola's already on display in mi casa, but I want to put up more. Here's some lovely little Pola's I found...brought back some  good memories:
