love your mother earth.

wednesday was a lovely day. luke had the day off, & i was off work by noon (early shifts rock, sometimes) so we decided to enjoy the cooler day by hiking the mountains less than a mile from our house. as you can see, we live close to some seriously beautiful outdoors.
do you spy the snake?? yeah.

oh you know, just on the edge of a cliff.

beautiful ogden.

please ignore luke's farmer's tan. i made him wear a wife beater to try to get rid of it...it didn't work.

after the hike we spent a couple hours at home, & then headed to ogden's own farmer's market. i love this little town.

32nd Street Trail

One of my favorite hikes in Ogden is a mere 3 minute walk from my front door. (I love living in the east bench!) The 32nd Street Trail is a moderate hike right next to Mt. Ogden Park and Mt. Ogden Golf Course. The trail connects to the 36th Street Trailhead, which has trails leading to Bonneville Shoreline Trail as well as Waterfall Canyon.
The other day, on my day off, I woke up itching to get outside and enjoy the day, and ended up here.
If you're ever in the Ogden area, head up to 32nd and Taylor, for one of the prettier hikes in South Ogden!
