Happy Hanukkah!!

this weekend was absolutely lovely.

i started the weekend out by going up to logan with odin and tawnee. it was an adventure.

then aaron, odin and i walked to the gallery walk. the gallery walk has always been one of my favorite parts about logan. they feature local artists at various locations throughout logan and you can walk to each venue and check out local art. my friend perry was able to show off his ceramics during the walk.

he is pretty much incredibly talented. i highly recommend you check his art out. i wanted to buy the little teapots so badly.

after the gallery walk, aaron and i went on an even longer walk around logan, and ended up at our friend constantine's for his HANUKKAH PARTY!!!

for those who know me well, you know i'm somewhat obsessed with the jewish culture, and basically plan on converting if i can. so this party sounded just rockin'. not to mention aaron himself is a jew, and so of course we needed to celebrate his people's holiday!! we lit some of the candles on the menorah, said jewish prayers, and i made a TON of latka cakes for everyone. there was also vegan soup and a variety of other jewish dishes. i never got to play with the dreidels..which i was highly looking forward to.

after that a few of us walked back to aaron's to kick it, watch a movie, and chill until the wee hours of the morning. today was a lovely morning because due to my job, i don't sleep in past 8. ever. so i ended up waking up everyone i knew to watch stand up comedy all morning and even got to go on a coffee run with my lovely friend adam and his sweet puppy kiara. whom i kind of miss living with...kind of.

and lastly, let's not forget the best part of the weekend:

kind of an inside joke.

but sometimes i think my friend's have hilarious jokes. hahahah.

and it's now safe to say, that despite all the crap i talked on logan at the end of this summer...i truly miss it.
