an evening in park city.

last week i went to the centerville starbucks store party. even though i transferred to a store in ogden, i was lucky enough to still get the invite to red rock brewery for dinner and drinks, and jupiter bowl for some awesome bowling and music!
it was a really good time, and it made me miss all the awesome people i worked with for the past year. here are some pictures from the evening:

on our way home we saw a MASSIVE fire from the freeway. i called fox to ask what was going on and they said it was a human caused fire...so of course a few of us went as close as we could to see the fire for ourselves. it actually ended up getting within several hundred yards of people's homes...so glad the firefighters got it put out!

birthday!

my birthday [last wednesday] was a fabulous day!! i was lucky enough to have some of my closest friends in town for thanksgiving. soren was in town from new mexico.. he was one of my favorite snowshoeing buddies [and salsa partner] up in logan. he graduated in may and has since been in new mexico. so it was very lucky that i got to see him!!

my cousin gardner was also in town from L.A. and ally was here from logan! i hardly ever get to see gardner ever since he joined a legit band and moved away. 

soo pretty much it was a fabulous night!! i was glad to get to hang out with not only these people but everyone else who came over and wished me happy birthday! 

you guys are the best. :]

a warm weekend.

this weekend was fabulous.
it was the first really warm weekend logan has had since probably august. so naturally, i spent basically the whole weekend up the canyon.

saturday afternoon was spent rock climbing up the canyon with ryan [who is belaying me in the picture above..good job ryan], odin, tony, aaron and doug.

saturday night was spent CAMPING!

gentlemen's night.

this weekend my friends had a "gentlemen's night"

where they all dressed up in suits and played card games and talked in funny accents.

hannah and i heard about it and were quite jealous.

so we dressed up and went too.

haha.

basically we were all ridiculously good looking.

and/or looked like we were in the mafia.

moi bueno!

i hope your easter was fabulous.

i had to work on easter, but i still had a delicious easter dinner with some good company.

recently.

its been a pretty awesome couple of weeks.

spring break was good to me, but almost too good.

lately all i've been doing is enjoying the sunshine.

i've had a really hard time getting back into the swing of things: school, work, real life.

and despite the fact that i've spent more time in the sun

then behind a book or in the library...

it's been totally worth it.

recently i've had several trampoline adventures.

my favorite.

went out to eat at boston's

enjoyed every minute of my fat and lazy cat

[it's a pretty big problem]

found the clothes i'm going to dress my future children in

at citrus and sage in logan.

sidewalk chalk? yes please.

and

got to spend time with mi familia over the weekend,

including holding, feeding, rocking, and kissing the CRAP

out of my adorable niece grace. 

it was a good week.

celebrate spring!

this weekend my friends and i celebrated spring
at the hare krishna holi festival in spanish fork.
it is held at the hare krishna temple
and everyone throws colored chalk in the air at the same moment...creating this:

needless to say, my friends and i had a blast
and i am so happy spring is here.

apparently there IS a flaw in the snuggie. little does he know he's getting a miami dolphins snuggie for his birthday in just a couple weeks.

on a completely random note..

i went to my friend hannah's ballet studio in logan yesterday.

it was the cutest little building i've ever seen.

their walls had chalkboard paints next to the barres.. and the wood floors are old and creaky.

pretty much amazing.

makes me want to dance again.

or buy a super old piano.

last night..

hannah, emily, ryan and i camped out.

yes, we had warm beds in our house waiting for us...

but sleeping in a tent sounded way better.

the tent is ryan's new one [purchased for our spring break adventures] and we set it up in the living room first. just to try it out.

i'm getting entirely too excited for spring...camping, hiking, adventuring, barefooting!
